For more than a decade, the Boston Center for the Arts Resident Theatre (ResCo) Program has offered multi-year residencies to some of Boston’s most innovative and groundbreaking performing arts groups. The ResCo Program offers theatrical companies a stable home so they can focus on artistic excellence, audience development and organizational growth.

Founded in 1989, Theater Offensive is committed to presenting honest, accurate, artistic images of queer life through groundbreaking programming. Held annually each fall, the Out on the Edge Festival is considered to be among the world’s premiere LGBT theater series. Additional programs include the True Colors Out Youth Theater and A Street Theater Named Desire, providing vibrant discussions and insight into the diversity of LGBT life.
