Martha’s Artist Salon at Boston Center for the Arts
Call for Hosts for the 2017–2018 Season

A community-led conversation, Martha’s Salon was created to encourage Boston-area dance artists, choreographers, educators and enthusiasts to come together to share knowledge about dance as it is practiced and presented around the world. In each session, a host offers a short workshop, lecture/demonstration or presentation identifying an idea or exemplar that demonstrates why the world of dance looks as does today.

We are seeking hosts for Martha’s Salon sessions of the 2017–2018 season. Selected hosts will be offered a stipend of $100 and technical (sound and projection) and administrative support from the BCA Dance Program Manager. Presentations can include visual or video examples, interactive elements with attendees, lecture/demonstrations or other ways of communicating your idea. Martha’s Salon takes place at the Boston Center for the Arts from 6–8 pm in the Mills Gallery or Martin Hall, depending on availability.

2017–2018 Martha’s Salon sessions will be:

Monday November 13, 2017
Monday March 5, 2018

Each session has some flexibility on dates.
