Movement at the Mills is an exhibition of dance by local and national choreographers and companies. Performances occur throughout the space while audience members are invited to walk through the gallery and observe dance as artwork.

Movement at the Mills is a series of dance exhibitions know for showcasing fresh, edgy work. This session features local companies, Jessie Jeanne & Dancers in a cross-disciplinary work inspired by Henri Matisse and Reject Dance Theatre as they explore the territory of human psyche, gender and animal movement.

Critically-acclaimed, skybetter and associates, will perform rigorously formal repertory amidst an installation by visual artist Jordan Eagles. Performance will feature Skybetter’s Kennedy Center-commissioned dance works, The Personal and Near Abroad, as well as an exclusive preview of new work, Game of Minutes.
