The Boston Center for the Arts is recognized throughout New England as the hub for the very best of small and mid-sized theatre productions.

Each year, the Boston Center for the Arts hosts more than 50 individual theatre productions by nearly 20 producing companies - including 4 Resident Theatre Companies in its multiple performance spaces, including:
  • The Plaza Black Box Theatre
  • The BCA Plaza Theatre
  • The Roberts Studio Theatre*
  • The Virginia Wimberly Theatre*
  • Deane Rehearsal Hall*
  • Rehearsal Hall A*

*The Calderwood Pavilion venues are managed by the Huntington Theatre Company and are programmed jointly with the BCA.
