 Using an imaginative blend of storytelling and movement, an ensemble of 7 actors fuse three of Gogol's most marvelous tales of the unexpected: The Overcoat, The Nose and The Diary of a Madman, for a darkly comic exploration of Gogol's world of nonsense and nightmare. This modern adaptation, Under the Overcoat, revives and animates Gogol's fantastical city of St. Petersburg to create a lively, expressive and thoroughly unique theatrical experience.
