An artist, curator, educator and creative strategist exploring the role of the arts and artists plays in transforming our cities, our relationships, and ourselves. BA Connecticut College; MFA SMFA/Tufts University.

In sculpture, video and paint, I focus on the nature of consumption and the exploration of distinct alternatives.

My work explores the relational hierarchies of objects and people. It employs humor, simulation, and meditative observation to question the objects of comfort, the retail systems they operate in, our consumptive behaviors and our collective fears. It then suggests alternatives.

I am currently developing new studio work exploring the theme of independence within an interconnected world through video and wearable sculptures. The studio is also home to Now and There Inc., a non-profit public art, that curates and produces independent public art projects that advance new definitions of public art in Boston.
