I grew up in Needham, MA, graduated from Skidmore College with a Studio Art degree, and worked for many years in graphic design and publishing before deciding to paint full time in 1994. BCA is only a 20-minute walk from home, so I'm there practically every day.

I am working on a series of Paris street-scapes—I am attracted by the wonderful painted wooden facades, often with historic signs that have no relation to the store's current use. I work only from my own photographs, which happily requires regular trips to France.
