HUBBLE creates a quadraphonic experience that routes a guitar signal into four different signals surrounding the listener on all sides, while SHARIF, with an acoustic or electric guitar, expands the intrinsic possibilities of the guitar without the use of effects or electronics. The two musicians have never performed together before.

Overheard/Underground blurs the boundaries between traditional and experimental music, providing a platform for artists working in hybrid styles and progressive sounds. By pairing musicians of different sonic backgrounds who have not performed together before, Overheard/Underground has become a showcase for new directions in global music.
