Three hunting buddies gather for their annual birding expedition. Kenny, a movie addict, runs a Tee Shirt Emporium, has a wife who is dying and a dog, Lady, who he loves more than anything else. Dyson, a liberal college professor, has enough pent up anger to ignite the forest where the action takes place. And Graham, a Democrat Congressman who ran on a Republican Platform, now whole heartedly supports the war in Iraq. Lady explores how these long-term friends have grown apart because of their views of politics and war. Is America the one to forcibly spread democracy around the world? Is killing justified? Is an eighteen year old ready and able to make a life changing decision in enlisting? We get to know what these three men are about as they reveal themselves to each other – which is a revelation to each of them, as well.
