The Boston Center for the Arts invites parents and children ages five and older to participate in Families Connect at the BCA, an afternoon of workshops that foster creativity, self-expression and artistic development in a fun and nurturing environment.

Think outside the box at the BCA as we explore the exhibit "Contained" with fun, interactive workshops! Parents, bring your kids to examine art big and small from tiny models of shipping containters to a colorful eight-foot billboard installation. With artist Carolyn Muskat we will create our own viewfinders and play with how we can contain what we see. Together we will draw our own images to place in our creations.
