Cabaret Songwriters Showcase

This three-day festival celebrates the work of contemporary cabaret composers and lyricists among the members of the Boston Association of Cabaret Artists (BACA) in addition to outstanding examples of cabaret songwriting from elsewhere in the country as well.

Friday evening, May 1, at 7PM:
At the Deane Hall, 527 Tremont Street, Boston.

Performers Mary Catherine Ward and Dane Vannatter present contemporary and classic standards from the cabaret songbook.

Saturday evening, May 2, at 7PM:
At the Deane Hall, 527 Tremont Street, Boston.

A performance by featured headliner Carol Hall, followed by showcases of songs by BACA members.

Approximate Running Time: 2 hour, 40 minutes; including one intermission

Sunday afternoon, May 3, at 2PM:
At the Encore Lounge, 275 Tremont Street, Boston. Tickets sold at www.bostoncabaret.org.

The festival ends with a songwriting master class led by Carol Hall, with Tex Arnold at the piano.
