On June 9, 2008 the Boston Center for the Arts held its Cabaret and Cocktails – A Salute to David Hacin, during which David received the annual Arts Champion Award, sponsored by the Boston Globe, at the Beehive Café. The event was a benefit for the BCA’s audience and community development programs, while honoring South End resident David Hacin for his activities and accomplishments as BCA Board Chair.
