Randall M. (Randy) Walther—BCA Board of Directors

Randy is CFO at B2B CFO, a national firm that provides CFO services to small and mid-sized companies on an as-needed basis. Prior to that he was an independent consultant and owner of the private consulting firm 1280 Consulting, Inc. In this position he provided financial, accounting, and management for Fortune 500 and local companies. Randy also served as the Interim CFO of the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) from 2010-2011. In that role, he directed global financial functions with an annual budget of $100M and 600 employees. He was responsible for financial and operational reporting, financial planning, forecasting, information systems, accounting, internal controls, and risk management.

Prior to 1280 Consulting, Inc., Randy was the Senior Corporate Director, Royalty Accounting at Time Warner Cable from 2003–2007. In this position he planned, coordinated, and administered financial support to cable operators serving 16M customers. He also directly managed payments, accounting, financial planning, management, and relevant SEC reporting for $4B annual royalty expense and 300+ programmer contracts. Randy has also worked in similar finance positions at Digi-Block, Inc (2001–2002), Servisense.com (2001), Time Warner Cable (1984–1999), and other local public accounting firms.

Randy received his MBA, magna cum laude, from the University of Denver and his BSBA in Accounting from the University of North Dakota.
