Robert Stanley—Treasurer, BCA Board of Directors

Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Rob Stanley was last with John Hancock Financial Services as Vice President for Sales, Operations and Infrastructure where he oversaw and managed the internal sales desk, field training, Management Information Systems (MIS) and data analytics, field technology, meetings and conference management, as well as field administration and the field office operations.

Rob has acquired almost 30 years’ experiences in the financial services industry. He served as Assistant Vice President, Annuity Operations in Boston for six years before moving to Retirement Plan Services in Toronto, as Assistant Vice President, Administration, Retirement Plans Services.

Prior to joining John Hancock, Rob was a Manager in Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting National Financial Services Practice from 1998 to 2001. In this role, he partnered with financial services companies to assess and implement new strategies to improve their businesses and operations.

From 1991–1998 Rob was a Manager, Distributor Services, for AEGON USA in Louisville, KY, of their Individual Retirement and Savings Operations.

Rob earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in Business Administration from Indiana University.
