House Associate | Cyclorama Events

The Boston Center for the Arts is looking for individuals to support House Management staff for events held in the historic Cyclorama. Events span a broad range of styles and include corporate parties, weddings, art fairs, fashion shows, and trade shows, among others. The House Associate will also serve as an arts advocate and should be comfortable speaking with patrons, clients, etc. on behalf of the BCA during events.

Production Manager | Cyclorama Events

Responsibilities include: Maintain public safety and appearance of the Plaza during Cyclorama event load-in, public and load-out; Manage the Cyclorama space for all internal & external events; Ensure that Cyclorama space is restored to sales ready state after load-out; Knowledge of location and capacity of circuits in Cyclorama; Assist with regular maintenance and upgrades of Cyclorama lighting grid; Ensure public safety at all times; Schedule and supervise security staff for Cyclorama events; Coordinate the cleaning schedule of the Cyclorama pre & post events; Manage One Month Prior information for Cyclorama events; Ensure client compliance to Cyclorama event policies; Enforce event procedures in accordance to City of Boston regulations; Assist and give suggestions for BCA Programs and internal events; Supervise House Associates during load-in/out and events; Ensure that the client and BCA staff adhere to City of Boston policies; Assist with procuring moving permits as needed; Maintain and assist with overseeing all upgrades to the Cyclorama, as well as other BCA venues; Assist the Facilities Department as needed; Ensure that all BCA venues and venue managers are in compliance with protocols in accordance with City of Boston regulations; Participate on BCA organizational teams as assigned
