Associate Director of Visual Arts Programs

In recent years, the BCA has positioned itself as the foundation and catalyst for creation – the creative home for emerging artists and mid-career visual and performing artists. The Associate Director of Visual Arts Programs is an important leadership role, responsible for the planning and supervision of BCA Visual Arts Programs, under the supervision of the Program Director. The BCA currently has four visual arts programs, including a robust exhibitions program in the Mills Gallery. Duties include, but are not limited to, the supervision of program staff, implementation of program activities, and budget management and tracking. In the absence of a Program Director, the Associate Director may temporarily assume the leadership role for the Program Department.

Director of Finance

The BCA seeks a Director of Finance with a proven track record in senior level non-profit finance to join its team. Under the supervision of the President and CEO, the Director of Finance will oversee day-to-day operations of the Finance Department and supervise staff as appropriate. The Director of Finance will execute the strategies set to advance the BCA’s budget development and analysis, financial reporting; and oversight over internal controls.

House Associate | Cyclorama Events

The Boston Center for the Arts is looking for individuals to support House Management staff for events held in the historic Cyclorama. Events span a broad range of styles and include corporate parties, weddings, art fairs, fashion shows, and trade shows, among others. House Associate will also serve as an arts advocate and should be comfortable speaking with patrons, clients, etc. on behalf of the BCA during events.
