House Associate | Cyclorama Events

The Boston Center for the Arts is looking for individuals to support House Management staff for events held in the historic Cyclorama. Events span a broad range of styles and include corporate parties, weddings, art fairs, fashion shows, and trade shows, among others. The House Associate will also serve as an arts advocate and should be comfortable speaking with patrons, clients, etc. on behalf of the BCA during events.

Theatre Manager

The Theatre Manager will coordinate and supervise all front-of-house operations for the BCA Plaza and Plaza Black Box Theatres, including productions of BCA Resident Companies and other renters, and other public events in the spaces. He or she will be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising front-of-house staff (assistant house managers) and volunteers; maintaining lobby inventory; as well as providing excellent customer service to all audience members and patrons in a timely manner. S/he is also the primary contact for all theatre-related uses (performances, rehearsals, auditions, etc.) of the following spaces: BCA Plaza Theatre, Black Box Theatre, Rehearsal Hall A, Arts Resource Room, and Studio 204.

Vice President of Development

The Vice President of Development (Vice President) will play a highly visible role in leading the BCA’s institutional strategy to increase contributed income, elevate the BCA’s profile, and strengthen the organization’s philanthropic base. Externally focused, the Vice President reports to and partners with the President & CEO and has direct interaction with the Board of Directors, particularly those on the Fundraising and Nominating Committees, as well as senior staff, external partners and donors, prospective funders and community stakeholders. The Vice President is an integral member of the senior management team which currently also includes the President, Chief of Staff, Chief Financial Officer, and Communications Director.
