Grant Writer

The BCA seeks an experienced part-time Grant Writer to join its Development Office. Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate an established track record of successful fundraising from private trusts, family foundations, and corporate and government giving channels. The Grant Writer will be responsible for an individual fundraising target, as well as contribute to the department’s overall fundraising goals for the year.

House Associate | Cyclorama Events

The Boston Center for the Arts is looking for individuals to support House Management staff for events held in the historic Cyclorama. Events span a broad range of styles and include corporate parties, weddings, art fairs, fashion shows, and trade shows, among others. The House Associate will also serve as an arts advocate and should be comfortable speaking with patrons, clients, etc. on behalf of the BCA during events.

Staff Accountant

The BCA seeks an experienced Staff Accountant to join its Finance Office. The ideal candidate will possess the non-profit accounting experience necessary to handle all aspects of the BCA’s accounting functions to include, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billings, cash receipts, payroll, journal entries, monthly general ledger account reconciliations/analysis and preparation of monthly financial statements.

Vice President of Development

The Vice President of Development (Vice President) will play a highly visible role in leading the BCA’s institutional strategy to increase contributed income, elevate the BCA’s profile, and strengthen the organization’s philanthropic base. Externally focused, the Vice President reports to and partners with the President & CEO and has direct interaction with the Board of Directors, particularly those on the Fundraising and Nominating Committees, as well as senior staff, external partners and donors, prospective funders and community stakeholders. The Vice President is an integral member of the senior management team which currently also includes the President, Chief of Staff, Chief Financial Officer, and Communications Director.
